Award-winning music. Unforgettable summer nights. Free for everyone.

Recognized as one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals by Festivals & Events Ontario, Troubadour Festival presented by Paul Sadlon Motors has quickly become one of Central Ontario’s premier live music experiences. Set against the stunning backdrop of Kempenfelt Bay in Downtown Barrie, the festival brings together award-winning Canadian artists, emerging local talent, and thousands of music lovers for four unforgettable Saturdays each summer.

Following a breakout inaugural season in 2025 that welcomed more than 15,000 attendees, Troubadour Festival has continued its remarkable growth, attracting more than 5,000 visitors to each event while earning provincial recognition as one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals.

Held in Meridian Place, the free concert series transforms Downtown Barrie into a vibrant waterfront destination where residents and visitors gather to experience incredible live music while exploring local restaurants, patios, shops, and attractions.

The 2026 season builds on that momentum with expanded programming, enhanced festival experiences, and a renewed commitment to showcasing Canadian talent. Each festival evening begins with the Local Opener Showcase, featuring emerging local musicians selected through an independent jury process, before leading into nationally recognized touring artists and an iconic Canadian headliner.

Beyond the music, Troubadour Festival continues to grow as a community celebration, offering special activations, local partnerships, and experiences that bring energy to Downtown Barrie throughout the day.

Whether you’re discovering your next favourite artist, singing along with a legendary Canadian act, or simply enjoying a summer evening by the waterfront, Troubadour Festival offers an unforgettable experience for music fans of all ages.

Admission is always free. Bring your lawn chair, gather your friends, and join us in Meridian Place as we celebrate Canadian music, community, and another unforgettable summer in Downtown Barrie.
