Open Air Dunlop returns for 2022! This Saturday, and every Saturday, Open Air Dunlop rolls in again and Dunlop Street will be closed to cars and open to pedestrians,

Join us on…

Sunshine, beautiful weather and lots of fun activities will be waiting for you in downtown Barrie.

While you’re supporting local you’ll be able to freely roam the newly constructed streetscape and participate in the many activations occurring downtown. There is so much going on, you shouldn’t miss out!

Here’s What You’re Going to Want to Check Out: Open Air Dunlop includes the following exciting features that you won’t want to miss!

1. Barrie Farmers’ Market (8am – 12pm)

Each Saturday, pop by the Barrie Farmers’ Market at City Hall before or after exploring Open Air Dunlop in downtown Barrie.

2. Open Air Afternoons (2pm – 4pm)

Live Music is back on the Meridian Place Stage in the heart of Downtown Barrie!

Who doesn’t love exploring the history of their own downtown? Barrie’s Public Art Tours Historic Downtown Barrie Walking Tours Barrie Bike Tours including a Downtown Barrie Art Tour by Bike!


Wider sidewalks, green infrastructure, new street lamps and more! Come see what everyone is talking about in our beautiful new downtown.

5. City Centre Patios (All Day)

Patio season has begun, enjoy the open air on a shop or restaurant’s patio! Beautiful days are here, but if needed, bring a jacket and bundle up with your buds while enjoying some of the city’s finest dining and shopping experiences.
