Troubadour Festival Kicks Off with Dean Brody! Shuttle Service, Beer Garden, and Local Talent Set the Stage

Barrie, ON – The wait is over—tomorrow night is the official launch of the Troubadour Festival Summer Concert Series featuring Dean Brody, and Meridian Place is ready to come alive with music, excitement, and community pride.
To help fans make the most of the experience, a complimentary shuttle will run from the Tiffin Street waterfront parking lot starting at 4:30pm. With six convenient pick-up and drop-off points between the Allandale GO Station and Downtown Barrie, it’s a stress-free way to get to the show—ideal for drivers and GO Train riders alike. The beer garden opens at 1:00PM, offering the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a cold drink before the music begins. With the waterfront as your backdrop, it’s the ultimate pre-show hangout.
Local Opener Showcase Lineup:
- – 6:00PM – Lance Dobinson – Known for heartfelt country originals like Long Road, Lance blends classic themes with powerful vocals.
- – 6:45PM – Rebekah Hawker – An award-winning country-folk artist whose raw storytelling and striking vocals captivate every crowd.
- – 7:30PM – Cam Brown – Barrie’s own modern country artist, fusing pop and R&B flair with chart-topping songwriting.
HEADLINER at 8:30pm – DEAN BRODY!
Headliner Dean Brody takes the stage at 8:30PM—bringing with him 8 #1 hits, 18 CCMA Awards, and a career of unforgettable country anthems.
