Troubadour Festival “Local Openers Showcase” Calling all Solos, Duos + Bands

The Troubadour Festival Local Openers Showcase is being well received! 

If you are a Solo or Duo in either the Youth (<18) or 18+ please submit! 

Selected through a local jury process, these emerging artists will take the stage in front of thousands at Meridian Place, gaining invaluable exposure and the chance to perform in a true “rockstar” atmosphere. 

Submissions for the Local Opener Showcase close on Friday May 23, 2025. Selections will be announced on Friday May 30 2025. Full details on eligibility and how to apply will also be available at www.downtownbarrie.ca 

Each event has three opening slots up for grabs!
