Welcome New Executive Team!

The Downtown Barrie Business Association (BIA) would like to extend a warm welcome to its new Executive Team. On Thursday, May 27th, the Downtown Barrie BIA Board of Directors voted to have the following Board Members as their Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary Treasurer. A warm welcome goes to:

Councillor Sergio Morales as Chair
Janet Kemp, owner of Janet Kemp Ladies Fashion, as Vice Chair
Sarah Jensen, employee of Bohemia as Secretary Treasure

As with all Board Members and BIA staff, these individuals are dedicated to our incredible downtown community. When you see them on the street, give them a warm welcome! We're thrilled to have them on board.

The Downtown Barrie BIA acknowledges that the Business Improvement Area is located on the traditional land of the Anishnaabeg people. The Anishnaabeg include the Odawa, Ojbwe and Pottawatomi nations, collectively known as the Three Fires Confederacy. The Downtown Barrie BIA is dedicated to honoring Indigenous history and culture and committed to moving forward in the spirit of reconciliation and respect with all First Nations, Métis and Inuit people.
