City Reminders – Rogers Hometown Hockey

The City of Barrie will be hosting Rogers Hometown Hockey on Saturday December 3rd & Sunday December 4th, 2016 in Memorial Square and surrounding locations.

Please be advised of the following road closures & noise exemption granted for the event:

  •  The Chase McEachern Parking Lot and 15 Bayfield parking lot will be closed from 6:00am on December 1st until 5:00pm on December 5th. Local traffic only will be permitted access along Chase McEachern Way.
  • Simcoe Street from Dunlop Street to Bayfield Street will be closed to westbound traffic from 6:00am on December 1st until 5:00pm on December 5th.
  • Fred Grant Street from 6:00am on December 1st until 5:00pm on December 5th. During this time, on-street parking will be prohibited.

Be advised that the noise exemption granted permits the generation of noise overnight on Sunday December 4th, beginning at 10pm, related to the event tears down and load out of their location.
