So, What's Going On?
As part of the economic recovery plan for our downtown community, Open Air Dunlop was born but we've grown it into something so much more. Presenting Autumn in the City - our fun and exciting campaign designed to help you fall in love all over again with your new downtown.

Here's What You're Going to Want to Check Out
Autumn in the City includes the following exciting features that you'll definitely have to check out!
1. Open Air Dunlop & Culture Days
Beginning September 26th for four Saturdays, Dunlop Street East between Mulcaster Street and Clapperton Street will be closed from morning until midnight to vehicle traffic. The public is welcome to bike or walk along the street to check out the downtown’s newly constructed streetscape, visit a local patio or shop, and discover local artists and their works.
2. Extended Patios
Also part of the economic recovery plan for our downtown community is an extended patio season until October 19th. We can still expect some warm and sunny days yet, but if needed, bring a jacket and bundle up with your buds while enjoying some of the city's finest (and funniest) dining experiences.
3. October Tasting Trail
Yes, your favourite tasting trail is back! Coming soon - click here for all the details!
4. Pumpkin Trail
Instead of just tossing your pumpkin on November 1st, bring it down to Meridian Place! We want to see them and show them off on your behalf before turning them into feed for a local farmer.
5. We Dig Downtown Contest
Have you entered yet? Shop downtown and enter a ballot with each purchase to win a Lifeline E-Gift Card. Each month until the end of construction, one lucky winner will win $250 to the business or businesses of their choice!
6. Barrie Farmers' Market
Each Saturday from 8am until 12pm, pop by the Farmers' Market at City Hall before or after exploring Open Air Dunlop in downtown Barrie.
