Coming Soon: Beautification Coordinators

The Downtown Barrie (BIA) will be bringing Beautification Coordinators on board who will be responsible for keeping our downtown free of litter, cigarette butts, debris. They will also be friendly ambassadors who will champion our downtown community and provide directions and recommendations to visitors! Look for them soon out and about in bright We Dig Downtown vests and when you see them, introduce yourself and say hello! They're looking forward to meeting you!

The Downtown Barrie BIA acknowledges that the Business Improvement Area is located on the traditional land of the Anishnaabeg people. The Anishnaabeg include the Odawa, Ojbwe and Pottawatomi nations, collectively known as the Three Fires Confederacy. The Downtown Barrie BIA is dedicated to honoring Indigenous history and culture and committed to moving forward in the spirit of reconciliation and respect with all First Nations, Métis and Inuit people.
