Calling local and Ontario-based artists – Brightening Barriers 2026

The City of Barrie and the Barrie Public Art Committee are inviting proposals from artists for public art installations as part of the 2026 Brightening Barriers Program. Six new works of art will be commissioned for this year’s program, and deadline to apply is March 13.

This year’s theme is Rhythms of the City!
