Downtown Barrie & the Barrie Chamber of Commerce are once again partnering to celebrate the season with the annual Tree Lighting Remix and Santa Claus Parade on Saturday November 18th, 2017. Downtown Barrie & the Barrie Chamber of Commerce are once again partnering to celebrate the season with the annual Tree Lighting Remix and Santa Claus Parade on Saturday November 18th, 2017.
Please be advised of the following road closures for the event:
• Owen Street from Collier Street to Dunlop Street from 6:00am on November 18th until 12:00pm on November 19th. During this time, on-street parking will be restricted. Access to businesses will be maintained from Collier Street.
• Fred Grant Street from 6:00am on November 18th until 12:00am on November 19th. During this time, on-street parking will be restricted. Local traffic only will be permitted access to along Chase McEachern Way.
• Dunlop Street West from Toronto Street to Clapperton Street and Dunlop Street East from Mulcaster Street to Sampson Street from 2:00pm until 7:00pm on November 18th. During this time, through traffic will be permitted to cross Dunlop Street except as the Parade is passing. Cross-street access will be maintained and monitored by Barrie Police.
• Dunlop Street East from Clapperton Street to Mulcaster Street from 2:00pm on November 18th until 12:00pm on November 19th. During this time, on-street parking will be restricted. Access to businesses will be maintained along Collier Street, Chase McEachern Way, and the Lakeshore Mews.
