After an incredible run with several sold-out performances, WE MUST HAVE MORE MEN! Barrie and the Great War returns to brings personal accounts of the soldiers from Barrie and Simcoe County who fought in the trenches, at sea, and in the air in the Great War as well as the wives and children who kept the home fires burning. This show allows audiences to connect with stories and people in their own community in a way that is exciting, musical and fun. Learn about the Grey and Simcoe Foresters, the reserve infantry regiment who laid the foundations of Base Borden, as well as some of the regiment’s heroic deeds on the field of battle.
