Description

The City of Barrie has issued a request for proposal for on-site waterfront activities. Desired activities include on-water and off-water lessons and rentals, bicycle rentals and fitness and recreation activities. Help keep our beautiful waterfront lively for residents and tourists alike!

Timeline: May 18 – October 15 (or as negotiated)
Term: three year term with two options to renew for 1 year
Hours of operation: can be negotiated, but must be firm once agreed upon; no operations past 11:00 pm
Available Facilities for Concession: shelving unit, storage, sink, counter, cooking area, grease trap, range hood, fire extinguishers, locking exterior garbage container
Note: Exclusive pouring rights agreement with PEPSICO in effect. No alcohol permitted.
Type of Food: to be proposed, must include at least one healthy option, preferably more. Must be single serve and in disposable containers/wrappers. Additional points for diversity of food options, and for featuring local products.
