Calling youth ages 14 to 18 years! Are you in a band? Do you know somebody with an amazing voice? Are you a Spoken Word Artist and looking for a chance to perform? Then the MacLaren Youth Council is looking for you to share your talent at the Glam Rockin’ Spring Coffeehouse! With over 150 in attendance, it’s a great opportunity to be seen and heard!

The MacLaren Youth Council encourages interested performers to audition on Wednesday, April 3 at the MacLaren Art Centre. Audition sign-up starts at 4:45 pm. Auditions are from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Gallery, main level. Acoustic performers, bands, spoken-word artists, poets and other talent welcome! Those selected will perform at the Glam Rockin’ Spring Coffeehouse on Friday, April 26, 2019.

• Musicians must bring their own equipment and be responsible for set-up.
  • Performance times are scheduled on a first-come basis.
  • Performers must be ready to perform one song/poem of a maximum duration of 5 minutes
  • As this is an all-ages event, please choose content that is audience friendly

Those chosen by the Council to perform will be notified by email the same week.
