Description
Healing the heart in a troubled & divided world with Buddhist nun, Gen Kelsang Suma. Many people are interested in mindfulness & meditation, but what exactly is mindfulness? How do we do it, and how does it help us in our daily life?
Mindfulness training and meditation have been understood by Buddhist practitioners for centuries to be key to a happy and fulfilling life. They are skills cultivated not merely in the formal setting, but as a regular part of a practitioner’s everyday life.
The practice of mindfulness is about more than just “being in the moment”. Originally taught by Buddha, it is a training that prompts us to always remember - and thus constantly practice - beneficial ways of thinking and acting that will protect us from problems, and bring ever more happiness into our lives.
