Barrie Transit is open late on weekends! The City of Barrie wants to help residents enjoy a night out on the town without having to worry about how they’re going to get home. Barrie Transit’s Late Night bus is a convenient and affordable way home from downtown Barrie. The late night Route 8 bus travels in two loops to and from downtown Barrie on Friday and Saturday nights. The first clockwise loop departs from downtown at 12:50 a.m. The second counter-clockwise loop departs downtown at 1:50 a.m.
