Downtown Heroes Campaign Continues to Receive Support

The Downtown Heroes capes continue to fly as support for the BIA’s Downtown Heroes campaign grows. The Downtown Barrie Business Association (BIA) was happy to facilitate another donation to the campaign on Friday, May 29th.

Initiated to support not only the Downtown Barrie BIA member businesses, the campaign is also intended to provide support to local essential workers during the very challenging and ever-changing COVID-19 pandemic.

A huge thank you goes out to Jennifer Cameron, Sales Representative of Royal LePage for her generous donation to the Downtown Heroes campaign. The funds received were divided between five BIA businesses including Grillicious Gourmet Tap & Grill, The WORKS Gourmet Burger Bistro, Philthy Philly’s Cheesesteaks & Poutinerie, Skewers Korean Style and the Lazy Tulip Cafe. Together, the restaurants prepared and individually packaged 100 lunches for the essential workers at the local IOOF Seniors Home.
