Troubadour Festival 2026 Season Announcement Coming Monday!

Barrie, ON – The countdown is on!
Following a breakout season that brought more than 15,000 music lovers to Downtown Barrie’s waterfront, and fresh off being named one of the Top 100 Festivals in Ontario by Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO); the Troubadour Festival Summer Concert Series is preparing to unveil its highly anticipated 2026 season lineup.
The official announcement drops Monday, March 9, carried live on CTV News Barrie (ctvnews.ca/barrie), Sarah Freemark and Jason McCoy will announce the headliners for the now award-recognized festival.
Selected by an independent jury in Fall 2025 and announced at FEO’s annual Sustain conference in Kitchener, the Top 100 designation places Troubadour Festival among Ontario’s most celebrated cultural events.
“This recognition is a proud moment for Downtown Barrie,” said Steve Ricalis, Chair of the Downtown Barrie BIA. “To be named one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals so early in our journey validates the collaboration, creativity, and community energy that has shaped Troubadour from day one. And we’re just getting started.”
The 2026 season promises:
- Expanded programming throughout the day
- An elevated stage experience at Meridian Place
- New regional talent integrations
- The return of the highly successful Local Opener Showcase
- Four signature Saturdays of live music on the waterfront
Festival dates have already been confirmed: the full artist lineup will be revealed Monday, March 9.
