Open Air Dunlop Classics In The Park Car Show & More! Troubadour Festival – The 99s!

Barrie, ON – Downtown Barrie is once again revving up for the return of one of the summer’s biggest community highlights — the second annual Classics In The Park Car Show, happening Saturday, July 26 from 10 AM to 5 PM.
 
In partnership with Barrie Thunder Classics, this exciting event will feature over 500 classic and modern vehicles stretching across Heritage Park, Meridian Place, and Dunlop Street. Car enthusiasts and curious visitors alike are invited to explore everything from vintage muscle to sleek custom builds in a waterfront setting unlike any other.
 
New for 2025 – Boats on Display Beside Meridian Place
 
This year’s event is shifting gears with an all-new addition: a lineup of premium recreational boats presented by Maple Leaf Marina, displayed beside Meridian Place. It’s a dynamic pairing of land and lake lifestyle, highlighting Barrie’s unique position as a hub for summer fun.
 
Classics In The Park – Schedule Overview

Troubadour Festival – Outdoor Music Series
 
6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
 
Following the car show, the fun continues into the evening with Troubadour Festival, a new outdoor live music experience at Meridian Place.
 
6:00 PM – Local Opener Showcase
  • – Check out local solo acts, duos, and bands as they share the stage and kick off the night 
8:30 PM – Headliner: The 99s
  • – The 99s are a super dynamic 8-piece band that plays huge hits and sing-a-longs from across eras and genres with jaw-dropping talent and positive energy. They are loaded with top-tier talent, including lead vocalist, Barrie-native, Carleigh Aikins. The band is musically directed by party band heroes Dwayne Gretzky. Cutting across eras and genres, their repertoire is vast enough to include hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s, for a show that can range from Tina Turner to The Killers, ABBA and Avril Lavigne.
