Barrie, ON – The excitement is building in Downtown Barrie as the community gets ready to kick off the holiday season in style! The Downtown Barrie BIA is thrilled to announce the music lineup for this year’s Noella Tree Lighting Celebration on Saturday, November 15, from 3 PM to 8 PM in Meridian Place — a night of live music, festive fun, and sparkling lights.

‘SHAKE YOUR MONEY MAKER’ HEADLINES ON MERIDIAN STAGE @ 6:30 PM!

Headlining this year’s event is Shake Your Money Maker – The Black Crowes Tribute, a powerhouse group of seasoned Barrie musicians who channel the gritty soul and swagger of the iconic rock band. With hits like Jealous Again and She Talks to Angels, this high-energy performance will keep the crowd moving and the spirit of rock ’n’ roll alive all night long.

CHOIR REVOLUTION AND LOCAL SINGERS BRINGING IN THE SANTA CLAUS PARADE @ 3 PM – 5 PM!

The celebration begins at 3 PM with live performances from local favourites Burke Erwin, Sammy, and Francesca Panetta, followed by Choir Revolution leading the Santa Claus Parade into Downtown Barrie with joyful sing-alongs that will have everyone joining in.

LIGHT UP THE NIGHT IN DOWNTOWN BARRIE! 

As the Barrie Chamber of Commerce Santa Claus Parade winds its way into the heart of Downtown Barrie, all eyes will turn to Meridian Place for the magical lighting of the Downtown Barrie Christmas Tree, followed by a dazzling fireworks display over Kempenfelt Bay and Heritage Park. With Santa leading the celebration and the sky illuminated in colour, it’s the perfect way to welcome the festive season and light up the community with holiday cheer.

CELEBRATE COMMUNITY COLLABORATION!

The Noella Tree Lighting Celebration is presented in collaboration with the Barrie Chamber of Commerce Santa Claus Parade, the Rotary Club of Barrie’s Festival of Trees, and the City of Barrie’s fireworks and event support. Together, these events create a weekend filled with community, creativity, and holiday magic in the heart of Downtown Barrie.
