Yarka first met Helen when she was a young girl and ended up working for Helen a few years later as a Bridal Consultant. Yarka eventually moved on from Helen’s but the friendship remained. Yarka had experience in a variety of industries including automotive marketing and real estate, but beyond that, she always knew she wanted to run her own business. She was intrigued by the idea of being her own boss and making a place of her own; leaving for home every night feeling like she helped someone that day. As a friend, Helen came to Yarka looking for assistance in selling Helen’s Bridal.
After many years of long hours on her feet, day in and day out, Helen had decided to retire. A combination of excitement for taking a risk and wanting to see her friend’s successful business continue on, lead Yarka to take over Helen’s Bridal. The stores reputation and her relationship with Helen are what prompted her to keep the name intact.
