Downtown Barrie’s Hot Cocoa Trail in Support of Camphill Foundation

Invitation to Presser: Tuesday, January 29th at 2:00pm at Barrie Bean Counter (49 Dunlop Street East)

The Hot Cocoa Trail is back in Downtown Barrie! Join the Downtown Barrie Business Association (BIA) in kicking off this event at the Barrie Bean Counter (49 Dunlop Street East) on Tuesday, January 29th at 2:00pm.

This year, the Downtown Barrie Business Association (BIA) is inviting the public to warm up their hearts and souls by following along the Hot Cocoa Trail every weekend in February. With over 20 unique takes on the traditional winter favourite, the Trail provides a fun winter activity as well as an opportunity to support The Camphill Foundation.

The Camphill Foundation “…directs its activities towards serving children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities though education, social and vocational programs which address the human being in its wholeness of body soul and spirit. In addition, Camphill works to promote sound environmental stewardship and social resilience through the practice of Biodynamic farming and gardening.”

One of the stops along the Hot Cocoa Trail that’s slightly different than the rest and can be enjoyed by all the adults is at Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery & Tap Room. For every bottle of their Ginger Belle beer purchased to take home any day during the entire month of February, $2.00 will be donated to The Camphill Foundation.

As a bonus, for every purchase of a signature Hot Cocoa Trail beverage, participants can fill out a ballot and enter to win one of five Hot Cocoa Trail vouchers.

Join us on Tuesday, January 29th at 2:00pm at the Barrie Bean Counter and help us spread the word on the Hot Cocoa Trail and supporting local!

See you there!
