The May Court Club of Barrie
The May Court Club is the oldest service club in Canada. It was founded in Ottawa in 1898 by Lady Aberdeen, wife of Canada’s Governor General. Since then May Court Clubs have been established in 9 Ontario cities. The Barrie branch was established in 1970 and joined the Association of May Court Clubs of Canada that same year. The Barrie Club presently has over 125 members.
